Caramel sauce


- In a saucepan, mix butter with brown sugar and milk over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved , then add the powdered sugar.
- Leave the mixture for an hour over low heat or until faint caramel color is obtained.
- Sauce to be served with desserts and pastries.



1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup milk
11/2 cups powdered sugar
